I Matter: Taking Care of Myself, Standing Up for Myself, Believing in Myself

  • Nationwide Children's Hospital 555 South 18th Street Columbus, OH, 43205 USA (map)

Girls talk about relationships as one of the “big issues” in their lives as early as fifth grade. With 1 in 3 high school girls experiencing a controlling or abusive relationship, it is important for girls and the adults in their lives to know the warning signs and where and how to find help.

Ruling Our eXperiences (ROX), The Center for Family Safety and Healing, and Nationwide Children’s Hospital have teamed-up to provide you with the resources, education, and support to navigate teen dating relationships.

I Matter is a free, annual community conference with 300+ attendees. With inspiring keynote speakers and expert-led breakout sessions, girls in grades 6-12 will learn the skills they need to engage in safe and healthy dating relationships and girl moms and female mentors will gain the tools and strategies necessary to support the girls they care about.
