ROX Among 5 Nonprofits to Watch in 2020

ROX JOINS COLUMBUS FOUNDATION HONOREES

March 31, 2020 (Columbus, OH) — On March 19th The Columbus Foundation announced the 2020 “5 Nonprofits To Watch”, an annual program designed to highlight organizations that are positioned for acceleration and change under sound leadership. ROX joins Columbus Fugees Academy, Columbus Works, Inc, Directions for Youth & Families, and Lower Lights Ministries. In addition to spreading awareness and educating donors on the mission and impact of each of the honorees, each organization received a $5,000 award from The Columbus Foundation. 

This $5,000 adds to the $75,000 capacity building grant awarded to ROX last June by The Columbus Foundation to support the early build-out of The ROX Institute, the nation’s first multi-disciplinary institute designed to provide training and professional development for adults working with and caring for girls. We are honored to have continued support from The Columbus Foundation in our efforts to empower girls locally and across the nation. Check out the full press release and announcement video!
