Lisa hinkelman, PH.D
Dr. Hinkelman is a counselor, educator, researcher and author of the book, ‘Girls Without Limits: Helping Girls Achieve Healthy Relationships, Academic Success and Interpersonal Strength’. Dr. Hinkelman’s work for the past decade has focused on the critical issues impacting girls and how schools, parents, and educators can effectively support and encourage girls’ interpersonal, educational, and career growth. Previously, as a Counselor Education faculty member at The Ohio State University, Dr. Hinkelman’s teaching and scholarly research focused on social and emotional learning, non-academic barriers that impact learning, and girls’ self-concept development.
Dr. Hinkelman is a graduate of Chatham College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she earned her degrees in Psychology and Education. She earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in Counselor Education from The Ohio State University.

Lauren hancock, mPa
Director of Operations
As the Director of Operations for ROX, Lauren oversees the daily operations and programming for the organization. Ms. Hancock serves as the relationship manager with program facilitators, school and community leaders, and donors; oversees program sites, curriculum alignment, data collection and reporting for ROX; manages the organization's financial practices and processes; and is active in the fundraising and development strategies of the organization.
As a certified women's self-defense instructor, Hancock is passionate about facilitating safety and self-defense workshops and helping girls and women find their voice, inner strength and confidence. She has devoted her career to the empowerment and equity of girls and women and has been a key asset of the ROX organization since 2009.

Marti is driven by opportunities to be a positive change agent and create lasting impact in communities in need of a voice. As the Development Manager for ROX, she works to provide an engaging donor experience that connects individuals and organizations to the necessity and impact of ROX. Marti studied Sociology at Salem College, the nation's oldest women's institution, where she grew her interest in gender-equality. For the last 10 years, Marti has been a dedicated volunteer and employee in the Columbus non-profit sector. Marti brings a heart for volunteerism, education, and diversity to her role with ROX, as she secures resources for continued research and programming.

Nancy willis, ma
As our Program Specialist, Nancy works with facilitators to implement ROX programing. Ms. Willis is responsible for ROX community-based programs and also assists with professional development trainings, fundraising events and volunteer activities, as well as supporting community relations and communications.
Ms. Willis is a graduate of Wittenberg University where she earned her degree in Communications and was actively involved in Student Life and volunteerism. Willis continued her education at Capella University where she earned her Master’s Degree in School Counseling.

rachel zufall, MA
Director of Curriculum and Educational Programs
Rachel earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Science from The Ohio State University in 2000 and received her M.A. in Counselor Education from OSU in 2008. After serving as a ROX facilitator for 10 years, Rachel is now the Director of Curriculum and Educational Programs. She is a key contact for curricular development, implementation, revision and evaluation for all ROX offerings.
She leads the programmatic initiatives of ROX, including facilitator training, ongoing professional development and recertification; ROX coach training, supervision and reporting, as well as assists in the development of new curricular components and future ROX offerings.
